Yes, it is possible to get a mortgage if you are self-employed, though it might be more difficult than if you were employed by someone else. To qualify for a mortgage as a self-employed person, you will need to show that you have a steady income and a good credit score. You will also need to provide more documentation than a W-2 employee would, such as proof of self-employment, business tax returns and personal tax returns.
