Here are the steps for applying for a mortgage

4. Choose a lender: Select a mortgage lender.
5. Mortgage application: Complete a full mortgage application.
6. Home inspection: Order a home inspection.
7. Home appraisal: Have the home appraised.
8. Mortgage processing and underwriting: Wait for the loan to be processed and underwritten.
9. Closing day: Finalize the mortgage and receive the keys.
