The Nigerian government incentivizes and supports non-oil exports through the Export Expansion Grant (EEG) scheme, which offers grants to non-oil exporters to reduce production costs and enhance competitiveness in the global market l. Additionally, the government provides other incentives, such as tax exemptions, duty drawbacks, and grants, to promote non-oil exports and diversify the economy. Furthermore, the Central Bank of Nigeria has established a N500 billion non-oil export stimulation facility to support businesses in expanding their scale of production and improving their export capacity.
