What documents will I need to provide to apply for a mortgage?

Here are some documents you'll need to apply for a mortgage
1. Identification (driver's license, state ID)
2. Proof of employment (W-2s, pay stubs)
3. Proof of income outside of employment (copy of lease, proof of child support or alimony)
4. Proof of rent or mortgage payments for the past 12 months
5. Proof of child support payments
6. List of debts
7. List of assets (bank statements, proof of investment)
8. Proof of source of down payment (gift letter, proof of transfer)
