The Nigerian government has taken several measures to mitigate risks for exporters, including

1. The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has provided funding for exporters to obtain necessary certifications.

2. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has implemented policies to support exporters, such as the RT200FX program.

3. The Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority (NEPZA) has taken steps to address issues with extortion and bureaucracy at ports.

4. Efforts have been made to address challenges related to certification, such as streamlining the process and reducing costs for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
